The European Central Bank, the Federal Reserve, and the Swiss National Bank are all up in arms to help wit the sub prime crisis. It is quite rare that they act in unity. Finally at least they realized the dangers and the magnitude of the sub prime crisis and opt to act in concert. This is extremely important as Fed itself can’t do it alone in a crisis that had already spread far off the shores of USA. it remains to be seen how effective their measures would be. But their actions alone should give investors some confidence.
