Citigroup to Keep EMI Loans is keeping the $5 billion loan for EMI rather than selling them as the conditions for selling them on the market does not seemed suitable. I don’t think this will be good for Citigroup as what they need now is liquidity and not debts. However the release of their results next week will be alright as they are one of the mainstay of the economy. Any problem with such a huge bank will have severe repercussions.
