Consumer Sales up 0.2% in Mar 08, is it something to be happy about? I doubt it given that it was against a backdrop of 0.4% dip in Feb. Whats more, do not forget about the inflation, add in the inflation, what you get is a totally flat if not negative growth. Today’s futures see a drop and this is expected.
