For those with weak heart especially those who had a lot of positions in the stock market I would suggest you take a week off next week. It would be a nightmare of swings, especially release of results of Citicorp and Merrill Lynch. But the most crucial would be the Consumer report next week, this data alone would determine the sentiment for the next few months.
My estimate is that it would be a pretty figure, only how hard it is going to be. But any good will can easily be lost when the bank reports are out. JP Morgan seemed to be quite safe for the time being, it is difficult to see what will be the losses for the other banks.
