Freddie Mac posts 1Q loss of $151M which is more than what Wall Street expected, though I wonder why it would want to raise $3.3 billion when what it lost is only a fraction of that. Does it anticipate further losses of bigger magnitude? This is a govt sponsored company so I really do not expect that anything will happen to it. But its continuous losses just show that the sub prime is still far from being over.
